RECREATE THE MISSING YEARS?

70s Priory student Donald Bennett has been bugged by the fact that for a number of years in the 1970s, there were no Priory yearbooks. He wrote to me with a great idea to re-create those and I am pleased to help him via the medium of this website. In the next week or two I'll be adding a response form to this page, but first please read what Donald had to say:-

"It would be great to attempt to recreate the missing (Manley) years (75/76, 76/77, 77/78)in the form of 'yearbooks'. Initially, it would have to be an excel spreadsheet and if there is enough interest from the past students and teachers, it could be expanded with photographs, submissions, etc. into something more closely resembling a yearbook. It can only be done with the support of past students/teachers and may only be feasible or limited to the high school where there is a larger population of past students to tap into. I propose to set up a dedicated yahoo e-mail account and ask past students and teachers who attended Priory during these years to submit their names along with as much of the following information as possible (feel free to add/modify/delete):

Year(s) they attended

Class grade

Name of teacher

Names of any other teachers they can recall Names of any students in their class or parallel classes Names of any other students they can recall, with any corroborating details (class grade, teacher, friends, siblings) that might help to link them to their correct class and classmates) Photos, stories, anecdotes. Hopefully there will be enough pieces of the puzzle to fit together, especially if they attended before and/or after these years.... like myself."
