What was the wildest thing you did at Priory?
Disrupted the Choir
singing at Christmas by singing rude lyrics at the top of our voices and
got told off. Latterly, planted Ganja plants amongst the bushes by the
classrooms to see if anyone noticed. None did as far as I knew. Maybe
they are still there!
Tell us about your memories of Priory Sports Day, The after school modelling club. Would go to Harriman's at Manor Park Plaza and get the 49cents Frog Model and then build it after school. Also used to like Revell Plastic Model Kits as well. The House meetings were always a hoot. I was in McGill.
Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory? All of us were crazy at some point!
Where do you live and what do you do nowadays? Live on the South Coast of England. After Jamaica as part of Uncle Joe's 5 Flights a Day invitation, went to Cayman and then Provo in Turks & Caicos. Work in IT and have a sideline project selling Caribbean Rum Cakes like my Mom used make when we lived in Kingston. Although not with the same level of alcohol though!
Tell us about any significant others My Partner Sue. Has to put up with all things West Indian!
Tell us about your most unusual meeting with a Priory person Was propping up a bar in London a few years ago next to a Chinese guy Neil Chang - as it turned out to be. When he orders his round of drinks, it's in broad Jamaican. Turned out we were at school together and played at each others' houses. Small world eh?
What do you think of the Priory Website? I think it's great.
