Nell Bourke for English-- wonderful, strong teacher, Betty Blake, for French-- she was almost our age and just back from Paris, and Tony Tame-- religion, fascinating and provocative

Who were your best friends at Priory?
George Cumming was my best friend. He was warm, friendly and kind. Erika Henriques was full of fun. Peter Wong was my true love. Aaron Abrahams was interesting and very intelligent. Kay Lynn Andrews was very sweet. really, it was a terrifically wonderful class.

What was the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?
Never go to gym class
What memories/views do you have of Priory?
Terrific teachers who still stand out in my mind, English classes with George Cumming and Mrs. Bourke on the veranda, being tested for the oral portion of A levels by Betty Blake on the same veranda, history class with Mr. Bourke, "well now, masters,...', Tony Tame advancing the theory that Judas Iscariot was the most devoted disciple trying to force Jesus into performing a miracle that would convert all
Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?
I remember the science boys, Aaron Abrahams and Anthony deLisser were a bit wackier than most of the rest, but they were very nice guys, too.

Where do you live and what do you do nowadays?
Outside Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. I teach art privately and at two retirement homes and manage a cooperative art gallery.
Tell us about any significant others
I have been married since 1968 to Jon Cannon who is a law professor at the University of Virginia. I have 3 children and one grandson.
